My spiritual Journey
The journey started
With just a date
It really wasn’t meant
to change the debate
a journey was down
a very simple road
that picked up speed
as my life began to erode
a step that was not so serious
a step that wasn’t gnarled
an agreement to investigate
a new and different world
The info was great
At times it was too much
The rituals were different
The instruction was clutch
I must take it slow
For the learning is great
Slow and steady wins the race
I need to learn to meditate
The light must be dimmed
For if not its blinding
I know the path I need to take
And it will be binding
Patience is the answer
To learn this is a chore
But to go too fast or too slow
I would soon be done for
my guides are important
To move me down my path
To understand the essence
As I learn about the past
The answer is meditation
And I need to do it more
I am headed to naz
To practice this art some more
I hope for a spiritual summer
Of peace and prosperity
A different type of experiences
In all its philosophies
To come back calmer
To find more than I seek
To be a more complete me
In all that I think

I Am Still Commit to Coven Life’s Website and All that Goes With It
I know my posts have been few and far between lately. That is something I will be changing as of tomorrow morning. As I am the only person posting to 2 websites, one of which help pays the costs of both of them, I’ve unfortunately let this one kind of slip so I decided I will do the post or posts on here first before starting all the ones on WOTC. This way my brain won’t have melted from being at the computer to long. WOTC posts take anywhere from 2 to 5 hours depending on what I want to post on there but as it pays the bills I need to keep those readers as happy as I try to keep the great people that read CL posts.
So I will see you maybe not so bright and bushy tailed but still excited to start posting on my original website again.

I am Sorry for Neglecting You
I had a very busy weekend. The only actual enjoyable part was meeting my new grandson. Today I’m going for a Heart Echo Stress test, not looking forward to that. If I’m not to tired when I get home I’ll try to put up a post or two. Wish me luck that I can do the whole stress part of test. Thank you

The Moon
Continuing from the previous post of aligning with Universal Powers for effective magickal practices…….
In this post I will be discussing the second of the Sacred Seven that I have been mentioning in the previous posts, the Moon.
As a practitioner of the Craft, the Moon is by far the most influential in my life.
Where does one start describing the essence of their own Psyche that is such a significant part of this incredible celestial energy?
Just like everything that exists on this earth and in the cosmos, the Moon shows its energy, its influence and its power through its phases, influencing the ever-evolving soul or what the ancient Greeks called the Psyche. Each Moon phase has an influence according to the Energy, Frequency and Vibration omitted by the rest of the celestial sphere. NOTHING stands alone, EVERYTHING is connected.
Moon magick is an experience that teaches you that nothing is separate and that everything is connected. It allows you to see deep into not only your own soul but that of the Great Mother and the Cosmos.
Moon magick to me is ‘Moon Medicine’. One that heals the body, spirit and soul, remembering that all three are one. By practicing Moon Medicine one learns the rhythm of the self that is connected to that of the earth and beyond. A true Witch is connected to the moon through this Moon Medicine and understands its connection to the healing aspect of the self and all those around him/her.
The true strength in understanding the Moon is by learning what it affects. The herbs, flowers, plants that are at their most potent in the evening and at what phases of the moon they are their most active. Which animals are at their most active and what is it that they do and why they do it.
The Moon’s gravitational pull has an enormous influence on all our water ways and the earth’s core. The waterways such as the lakes, rivers and oceans have an important influence and impact on the earth’s weather system. Study the way human beings act at certain times of the month. The best way to do this is to start with yourself.
Moon Diary
Begin by creating a moon diary, one that shows you the different phases of the moon and the seasons. In the diary you can add your magickal herb correspondence for that particular month, your spell work, your meditations done, your rituals and of course your feelings and emotions. You could also add the celestial influences of that month such as planets, asteroids eclipses, retrogrades and so forth. You can add your personal observations of people around you, animal and plant life. Add any further readings that you have done that have influenced your magickal work. I know from personal observation that at certain times of the month I’m drawn to do certain things, go certain places and read or research certain books and subjects.
You could say that it is a little like a Grimoire, well it is, and it is that of the moon and its magick……
As everything is connected, the Moon Journal or Diary is there to help you connect to the energy of the Moon and that of everything that is influenced by it.

Psyche
One of the most important human aspects in the essence that is influenced by the Moon is that of the Psyche.
In fact Psyche was a Goddess in ancient Greece that was the personification of the soul, one that was attributed to the Feminine Spiritual and Psychological growth, and no it’s not only for the female, it’s the Feminine, one that is imprinted in both men and women. This is where the origins of the word Psychology comes from.

Colors
Blue, white, orange, red, yellow
Herbs oils and incense

Crystals
Moon stones, selenite (named after the Goddess Selene which is the personification of the moon), amber, opal, rose quarts, quartz, obsidian
Moon magick bath salts to help you relax just before or after a ritual
I cup sea salt
8 Drops frankincense
8 Drops sandalwood
Mix together. Place in an airtight container. Place 1-3 tablespoons in your bath.
This Song Has More Meaning Today
Last evening I became the grandmother to my 6th grandson bring my grand total of grandchildren to 9!! I was allowed to do his Wiccaning with in minutes of his birth so his ancestors are already watching over him along with my son and daughter-in-law also our large extended family.
I asked for prayers for my daughter-in-law (D-I-L) as she had to have an emergency c-section due do preeclampsia (women in the later stages of their pregnancy can all of a sudden develop high blood pressure that can be life threatening to mother and the child she is carrying) and gestational diabetes. As she was adopted she has none of her medical history background but I am not to worried about my grandson as my D-I-L has been healthy but a little overweight her whole life.
