Choose music that represents to you either storms or light, breezy conditions, depending upon the atmosphere you wish to create. Your dancing and singing should make you think of wind blowing across the land, stirring the plants, whistling over the mountain tops, pushing the clouds through the sky.

Note: Use candles or other objects of a pure yellow color. Choose herbs and oils that are listed as of the element of Air.

In your dance and singing, imitate the movement of flames. If you have ever closely watched a wood fire, for instance, you become aware that fire dances and sings in its own manner. Choose music that helps you to reflect this mental imagery.

Note: Use candles or other objects of a pure red color. Choose herbs and oils that are listed as of the element of Fire.

There are several good environment tapes that play the actual sounds of the ocean or running streams. Some harp music is also reminiscent of Water. Let yourself be Water in your dance and singing; feel yourself flowing along a streambed or riding the ocean waves.

As humans, we are so familiar with the feel of Earth energies that it is often difficult to imagine what being Earth is like. Earth energies are creative, maternal, slower than those of other elements. Success Witch Spell

To bring the energy of success into your life, try out this beginner magic witch spell.

 

What you will need for this spell are a yellow votive candle, a candle holder or plate, a knife or something to carve with, and a lighter or matches. This spell is best to do during a full, new, or waxing moon, but not a waning moon.

 

Candle magic is great because there are many ways to personalize the spells as you can get all different kinds of candles with different colors, tones, shapes, and sizes. You can also get candles with different symbols or shapes on them, or you can carve these in yourself.

 

1. Cast your circle.

 

2. Take your candle and carve a symbol of success into the side. The symbol is up to you and can be whatever you feel like represents success to you. You can use a rune, a money sign, or some other symbol relating to success, as long as it has meaning to you.

 

3. Ignite your candle, and focus on the flame.

 

4. Visualize yourself successful. Feel how you would feel as if you were already successful. Visualize as much detail as you can using all of your senses. Feel the happiness and joy you have from being successful. Make yourself believe that you are currently successful and you have achieved the level of success that you want.

 

5. Focus on the flame, watching it as you are visualizing this feeling of success.

 

6. When you are ready, dismantle your circle, but leave the candle burning. Let the candle burn until it goes out on its own. Make sure you don’t leave the candle alone though and accidentally cause a fire.

 

7. When the wax has cooled off after the flame goes out, take the wax and put it somewhere safe, in a bag or another container.

 

8. As often as you can, tell the universe and yourself that “I am successful. I am worthy. I am powerful.”

Spirit of White Buffalo

 

Native American myths and culture have always been my inspiration. The first approach to the mysteries of Shamanism in my life was through the  Native American ways of spiritual work. Then I learned about the Scandinavian Shamanism and I discovered the many common things in both paths. My studies and research led me to the knowledge that in its essence the pagan ways are quite alike in the different parts of the world as are the Old religions,too. They all seem to have one origin that is very old and points towards the beginning of human history on Earth.

Here is a wonderful article I found online about the White Buffalo Spirit . This is the Spirit who walks between the worlds and connects the Red Road/ the path of incarnation and physical life / and the Blue Road / the path of the Spirit /.

When you think of Celtic tradition these are Dragons who walk between the worlds and open new realms, in Native American traditions it is White Buffalo Spirit  who connects the worlds.

The Earth is Our Mother Chant

This is a beautiful chant I found a cpouple of years ago. I recommend doing it outside. If you have a regular drum join in drumming. You can also use a plastic bowl turned upside down and a wooden spoon for drumming. Think of positive energy  flowing into Mother Earth for her healing while doing the chant. Chant as long as you feel the wanr to. I than sit and meditate for a while on all the wounderful things she gives us and all the beings and creatures that live on and in her. I hope you enjoy this chant as much as I do.
