I wanted to share with everyone about my witchcraft path. There are many types of witches so I wanted to spend a few minutes letting everybody know what type of witch I am.
I combine different types of witches to become the type of witch I am. So…I am Angelic witch, Shamanic Witch, Weather Witch, Lunar Witch, Blood Witch, and Eclectic Witch.
Angelic Witch: I connect to the universal vibration replacing the traditional god and goddess used in rituals and spell casting with angels.
Shamanic Witch: I am a rescue medium so I do believe in good and bad spirits. I use healing as apart of my witchcraft.
Weather Witch: I use rainwater in my rituals and I pull on the energy of storms and lightning and I am devoted to all kinds of nature and elements.
Lunar Witch: I honor the moon and uses the moon phases to influence my spells and rituals.
Blood Witch: This just means I was taught by family the way of the Craft.
Eclectic Witch: This just means I follow my own path, no set of rules I follow and I pull from many of paths.
So, I hope that explains what type of witch I am….

If the soul passed through the Weighing of the Heart it moved on to a path which led to Lily Lake (also known as the Lake of Flowers). There are, again, a number of versions of what could happen on this path where, in some, one finds dangers to be avoided and gods to help and guide while, in others, it is an easy walk down the kind of path one would have known back home. At the shore of Lily Lake the soul would meet the Divine Ferryman, Hraf-hef (He-Who-Looks-Behind-Him) who was perpetually unpleasant. The soul would have to find some way to be courteous to Hraf-hef, no matter what unkind or cruel remarks he made, and show one’s self worthy of continuing the journey.

Scrying is something I bet you’ve done without even realizing it – the beginning part of it anyway.
How many times have you watched the clouds drifting by in the sky, seeing faces and shapes in them? Have you ever stared blankly at a wall, ceiling, or floor and seen faces and shapes move across them?
That is scrying. (kind of) 😉 It means getting into a relaxed, meditative state and focusing on the shapes and symbols we see, and trying to interpret what meaning they may have for us.
Scrying is a form of divination, which means “fortelling the future,” but it is also a great tool…
This is an interesting “scientific” article by LEE ANN OBRINGER on the website How Things Work. You may not agree with everything or even anything the article says but in an effort to bring you different points of view on a subject I thought it worth putting on Coven Life.
In most people’s minds, “Tarot card reading” means a woman in flowing robes, leaning over a small table in a candlelit room, foretelling impending doom.
But that’s not really what Tarot cards are about. In fact, they’re not even really meant to tell your fortune or future. According to The Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn, “The most powerful sources of information come from within; the Tarot aids in coming in contact with one’s Higher Self.”
But what does that mean? In this article, we’ll look at the various ideas about where Tarot cards come from, what they mean and how a deck of cards can possibly tell you anything about yourself. You’ll learn why it matters where the cards fall and why you don’t have to be a psychic to do a Tarot reading.
Types of Readings
There are actually two different types of Tarot readings: question readings and open readings.
Tarot is an ancient divination that began in 14th century Europe. Traditional Tarot decks consist of 78 cards (the Major and Minor Arcana) depicting symbolic archetypes that allow us to tap into our intuition and gain clarity through Tarot card readings. Today, Tarot readings remain one of the most popular tools for insight and reflection worldwide.

I know there are definitely others out there with more knowledge of the Norse Pantheon family tree then myself. So if corrections need to be made to these that I found on Bing.com images, please let me know so I can make them. Thank you.
Candles are widely used in Wicca and related forms of Paganism and Neopaganism, as they are in many other religions. Consecrated candles are frequently used on the altar to represent the presence of the God and Goddess, and in the four corners of a ritual circle to represent the presence of the four classical elements: Fire, Earth, Air and Water. Candles are burned at all ceremonies, and the lighting and extinguishing of candles often marks the opening and closing of the ritual.
A candle can be consecrated and charged with magical energy by cleansing it and anointing it with a small amount of oil during the waxing phase of the moon. The candle can also be carved or painted with appropriate magicalsymbols to further empower the candles with those energies.
