The Magickal Aspects of Cinnamon and Cassia

As a fairly new Witch I’ve been trying to think of clever ways to memorize all of the different magickal correspondences I come in contact with every day. A way to invite Magick into my life even when I’m not feeling particularly magickal. 

So every time I add an herb or spice I will recite its correspondences. In this case a dear friend gave me some banana bread which I added cinnamon to, because life just needs more cinnamon. As I was sprinkling this beautiful spice I rattled off it’s magickal aspects such as its element is fire and it promotes luck, love, power, protection and so on, now those are some exciting Magickal ingredients to power up your day.
