Yule Winter Solstice/Litha Summer Solstice

Its Christmas time and this is a time of caroling and gatherings. Some of the Deities we could call upon are Mother Berta, Santa Claus, the Kings of Holly and Oak are a few. Herbs are Chamomile or rosemary and stones related are Quartz, blue sunstone.

At the Winter Solstice we have reached the depth of darkness with the longest night of the year. Its a time the sun is reborn to warm the earth again.

So come join us tonight as we gather to celebrate!!!

~ 2 White Candles-any size-place on either end of altar

~ Red candle to represent the God-any size

~ Green Candle to represent the Goddess-any size

~ Paper & Pen to write wish on

~ Have wish ready to write on a small piece of paper

~Incense-your choice

~ Safe container for burning paper

If a candle is not available burn the following herbs:

~Bayberry or blessed thistle for the God

~Frankincense or Rosemary for the Goddess

Litha- Southern Hemisphere-Summer Solstice

 

~ 2 White Candles-any size-place on either end of altar

This is the time for us to set our wishes/intentions for the upcoming year.

 

Yule-Northern Hemisphere-Winter Solstice

 

This celebration is of rebirth and the return of the sun. Renewing of the old. It’s the beginning of longer, brighter days. A time to celebrate knowing that spring and warmer days lie ahead. A return of light, hope, and promise.

Litha- Southern Hemisphere-Summer Solstice

 

Longest day of the year where life & light are abundant. The time in which the son God is the strongest. Time of celebration by burning the sun wheel with promises of fertility and prosperity for the coming year. Also, a celebration of the Goddess because she is with child reflecting nature’s growth and abundance.

Now let’s start our Yule/Litha ritual

Casting the circle:

To the Guardians of the East…

“I call you into our watchtowers to protect and guide us”

To the Guardians of the South…

“I call you into the watchtowers to protect and guide us”

To the Guardians of the West…

“I call you into the watchtowers to protect and guide us”

To the Guardians of the North…

“I call you into the watchtowers to protect and guide us”

I cast this circle by the power of three times three with assistance of the Great Mother and the Great God

I call upon the spirit guardians for protection, as above so below, May the power of the Great God and the Great Mother join us within our circle, to protect, to guide, and allow us to see beyond the veil.

Protect us Great Mother and Great God all of us that has gathered here and from afar. Allow no negative energy into our sacred space. We ask in perfect trust and love.

“I light this fire in your honor Ancient Mother Goddess, watching over life and death, the one who gives rebirth. We invite you Great Mother to our circle, bring us the promise of new light.”

We look at the Ancient Mother Gaia and Sky God. You are the source of all therefore without you nothing can be born.

I pray to you Great Ancient Mother and Father, be present within our circle with your valor, and grant me my wish.

Please light the God Candle (Red) using the white candles.

Memorial Day

Let’s not forgot to remember the people serving in the military and for those that gave all for our freedom. Sometimes we forget that if is wasn’t for them we would not be how we are today.

Also, lets thank law enforcement, fire crews, emergency medical people, doctors, nurses, and also forestry.

Ego…

Merry Meet,

I wanted to discuss today about the three parts of all of us. The first part of us is our spiritual part, which is represented by the upper 3 Chakras. Then there is the Ego part of us which is represented by the lower 3 Chakra’s. Now, the third part of us is the Heart.

Now, we have to choose everyday about what we are going to listen to…will it be the spiritual/heart part of us which is the “I AM” or the Ego part which is “I AM NOT”

Very important because the ego can and will ruin our lives if we let it take over and it will lead to devastation because it will lead to greed etc.

Thought this was the perfect time to let everybody think about this which to me is a very important decision for all of us.

I choose “I AM” but we each have the decision to make.

Monday Card Reading

Today I picked from my Archangel Animal Deck by Diana Cooper. To me animals, are very important in our lives. The card pulled was “The Owl”

Owls are teachers so what is the message for us today…So this is just a reminder to watch the words that you speak to others. You could have a positive affect on the person or a negative one. Therefore, listen to your words as you speak. This could help somebody that is having a bad day. As you speak your vibration is raised so imagine how we can help others if we are speaking positive.

Witches Spell A Day Almanac

I use the Witches Spell a Day Almanac and I wanted to share my experience with you. I find it very informative and it gives me a spell each day so if I feel like doing that spell I can.

Spells are part of us as witches and the ones in this book is just amazing. It gives the color of the day and the incense of the day. The spells I find very interesting.

I don’t do all of them but some I am drawn too. So, do you use this book and if so in what way?

Wednesday Reading

Today’s card is “2 of Roses-Winged Messengers” The deck is The Akashic Tarot by Sharon Anne Klingler and Sandra Anne Taylor.

This card reveals there is some kind of conflict in the home or family. But this states it’s up to you to solve the issue. Be the peacemaker, sit and talk it out.

Also, the hawk in the photo coming in from the right, indicates more challenges are coming but you have the spirit to deal with whatever comes your way due to your knowledge of the situation.

Tuesday Card

The card for today is for us all. Its Blame-I accept responsibility for my well-being. The Deck is “The Soul’s Journey” by Jame Van Praagh.

So, this is what I get from this card and I feel it applies to all of us. It’s time to take responsibility for our actions. This virus has killed and now we need to step up and do our part–each of us.

Its time to stop blaming others for our own actions. So, step up today and take action to make your life better and remember to try and shift the blame to someone else is only going to hold you back.

National Doctor’s Day

Merry Meet. Today is National Doctor’s Day and I want to ask for prayers for all the doctors, nurses, EMT’s, Paramedics, anybody in the health related field. The virus does not discriminate and these brave people are facing it everyday.

I was a EMT, paramedic, and a nurse years ago and it is very hard dealing with deaths. So, please today if you can please light a white candle and call upon Arch Angel Raphael and ask for the all medical personnel to be protect from this virus.
